RELIGIOUS ED SECRETARY

Jennifer Switlick

Hi, I am Jennifer Switlick, Religious Ed Secretary here at St. Mary's Parish.  I was born on August 23, 1968 and grew up in Athen's WI.  I graduated from Athens High and started working at Fiskars Manufacturing in 1987 with a career in Supervisory Management.  I attended a few classes at North Central Technical College to help build my career as supervisor.  I have worked in several departments at Fiskars making a variety of scissors, pinking sheers and rotary cutters.  I also was involved in the company Safety Program and was the trainer for forklift operation.

In 1989 I married Francis Switlick who is currently employed at County Materials in Marathon.  We have two wonderful daughters Cassandra, age 11, and Nadine, age 9, who both attend schools in the Merrill School District.  We built our home in Little Chicago which is located 6 1/2 miles north of Marathon and we are continuously making improvements in the yard and surrounding area.  We have two pets, Casper (our big white dog) and Iceman (our blue betta).

Along with holding the position as the RE secretary I am also a second grade Catechist at St. Mary's.  In my spare time I enjoy watching Nascar (Matt Kenseth is my guy and my goal is to watch him in action some day)!  I also enjoy camping, doing yard work, computers, decorating, building my faith knowledge, and helping at my children's schools.
