As director, I welcome everyone to our parish community and our religious education programs.  Our doors are open to all who are searching for a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through the Catholic Faith.  It is our vision that we become partners in teachings and sharing faith with your children in the ways that Jesus taught us.

Religious Education Programs

At St. Mary's Parish there are schedules in a variety of formats and time-slots to maximize involvement and experience for all ages.  To enroll in one or more of the programs contact the Religious Education Office at 715-443-2433, email, or check out the forms link to the specific program or areas of interest.

HISTORY:

The Religious Education Center was developed in the summer of 1991 to minister to the people of three Catholic communities: St. Patrick’s in Halder, Sacred Heart Parish of Cassel and St. Mary’s of Marathon.  Due to the change in pastoral leadership in 1996 the office was relocated from the rectory at Sacred Heart to the second floor office of St. Mary’s School.

MISSION STATEMENT: 

The Religious Education program exits as a partnership with parents to guide students as they grow in knowledge of Christ and the Church.  The Catholic Faith is presented through teachings of Catholic doctrine and tradition, which will enable students to appreciate Jesus’ message of love.

GOAL:

The goal of the Religious Formation at St. Mary’s, through the power of the Holy Spirit, seeks to provide for those who are interested:

An environment for worship and prayer in which the parish community is nourished by God’s Word and the sacramental life of the church.
 

An opportunity to share faith in our education, fellowship, and service programs to continually grow in a relationship with God and one another, and to share our Christian experience with all God’s people.
